In 1982, Narrow Way Gospel Assembly, Inc. was planted in Yonkers, New York because one man dared to obey the Voice of God.

Pastor Clifford Fisher stated, “God told me to build a pulpit and when I have finished it, I will have a place to put it and I should preach deliverance to the people.”  God was true to his word because before the pulpit was finished, a place was found to put it – 50 Main Street, Yonkers, New York.  Prayer and Bible Study were started in the building as soon as it was usable and before the church was officially organized.

In March 1983, under the auspices of Bishop Kenneth O. Robinson of New Covenant Temple UHCA, Narrow Way was officially organized.  Clifford Fisher was installed Pastor of the Narrow Way Gospel Assembly.  Narrow Way started with seven faithful members.  Salvation and Deliverance was the heart of the ministry.

1992, the Narrow Way Bible School was started under the leadership of Elder Clifford Fisher, President, and Elder Gwen Fisher, Dean.  And in November 1996, Elder Gwen Fisher was ordained as Pastor to work by Pastor Cliff’s side at Narrow Way.

Presently, Narrow Way’s home is 26 Willow Place and the church is still going strong.  Narrow Way is going into the community to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ our Savior and to aid the needy.

Elder Clifford Fisher still holds fast to our Vision Statement and the Purpose which is:  The Narrow Way Gospel Assembly will endeavor to teach its members the way of salvation and how to be delivered from worldly hang-ups.  We will tell the unsaved the good news of Jesus Christ.  We will train workers to reap the harvest and show them how to thank God in all things.”
