In 1982, Elder Clifford Fisher was led by God to 50 Main Street in Yonkers, New York to start a Deliverance Ministry.  The heart of their ministry is seeing people free in Jesus Christ.  From that vision, “Narrow Way Gospel Assembly” was birthed.

Elder Gwen Fisher was installed as Co-Pastor of the Narrow Way Gospel Assembly in 1996.

In 2006, God blessed the Pastors and Narrow Way Gospel Assembly family with their own church home at 26 Willow Place, Yonkers, New York where they are presently located.

Elders Clifford and Gwen Fisher graduated from the United Holy Christian Bible School and the Manhattan Bible Institute with honors.

Elders Clifford and Gwen Fisher started the Narrow Way Bible Institute in 1992 as an extension of Manhattan Bible Institute. In 2009, the institute became accredited by Accrediting Commission International (ACI), Inc. There have been 178 graduates under ACI banner.

Pastors Clifford and Gwen Fisher have been in the ministry for over 45 years.  They appreciate the many ministries and leaders that grew out of Narrow Way Ministry including: New Creations under the leadership of the late Elder Garfield Dorsey and Apostle Mildred Dorsey; InnerFaith under the leadership of Bishop Clayton Nelson and the late First Lady Anita Nelson; and New Covenant Life under the leadership of Apostle John Savage and First Lady Norma Savage.

The Fishers’ have been married for 62 years. They are blessed with four children (three girls and one boy), four grandchildren (three boys and one girl) and one great grandson. The Fishers’ are also blessed with many spiritual sons and daughters.

They really enjoy family and fun time with their sons, daughters, and grands.
